ZAMBOANGA CITY - The Police Regional Office for Zamboanga peninsula (PRO-0) will conduct on Wednesday, July 24, the registration of firearms and permit to own and possess firearms (LTOPF) by an individual inside a shopping mall here

Police Regional Office for Zamboanga Peninsula (PRO-9) Director Police Brig Gen Froilan F Quidilla said the firearms registration today is part of the “Pulis Natin Caravan program” aimed at bringing the PNP’s services closer to the people.

Quidilla said the one-day caravan will make it easier for gun owners in Zamboanga peninsula and Isabela City to apply for new license to own and possess firearms (LTOPF) and renewal of gun licenses.

The Regional Civil Security Unit-9 (RCSU-9) will receive today applications for LTOPF and for the delinquent gun owners to have their expired LTOPF’s for renewal.

The activity will start from 9 a.m. up to 5 p.m. at City Mall located at barangay Tetuan in this city.

Quidilla stressed that the one day caravan is a one-stop shop where applicants will process all the requirements needed to obtain a license to own and possess firearms (LTOPF).

The center will also conduct neuro-psychiatric screening, drug test, and issue police and NBI clearances.
Quidilla appealed to gun enthusiasts and responsible gun owners across the region to visit and avail of the one-day caravan.
