Five drug suspects nabbed in Valenzuela 

Five drug suspects, three of which are included in the police’s drug watchlist, were arrested in a sting at Gen. T. De Leon in Valenzuela City Sunday.

Arrested were Reynaldo Alinabon, 49; Ma. Victoria Alinabon, 40; both residents of the area; Virgilio Santos, 50; Bienvenido Montejo, 47; Roger Lopez, 38; and Yanci Malinosque, 39; all residents of Malinta, Valenzuela City.

Investigators said Reynaldo and Ma. Victoria Alinabon, and Santos are all included in the police’s drug watchlist.

Joint elements of the Valenzuela City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency conducted the buy-bust operation at about 1:30 a.m.

According to a report, the suspects were arrested after they sold a sachet of suspected shabu worth P200 to a poseur buyer.

Retrieved from the suspects were eight sachets of suspected shabu, P400 in cash, and the P200 marked money.

The arrested suspects will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Minka Tiangco)

Five arrested in Navotas drug sting

Five suspects were collared in a buy-bust operation at Barangay Tangos North in Navotas City Sunday.

Police identified the suspects as Niño Eugenio, 41; Leslie Sigua, 43; both residents of the area; Pablo Pinto Jr., 41; Nestor Tamayo, 62; both residents of Barangay Tangos South; and Crizaldy De Jesus, 34, resident of Barangay Pag-asa, Obando, Bulacan.

Elements of the Navotas City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency conducted the buy-bust at about 1 a.m.

Investigation showed that the suspects were arrested after selling a sachet of suspected shabu worth P300 to a poseur buyer.

Six sachets of suspected shabu and the buy-bust money were recovered from the suspects.

The seized pieces of evidence were brought to the Northern Police District Crime Laboratory Office in Caloocan City for laboratory examination.

The suspects, who are now under police custody, will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Minka Tiangco)
