Quiapo vendors set up blue tents after clearing operations

Following a series of clearing and clean-up operations instructed by Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, blue tents have been seen mushrooming in Quiapo.

Vendors were spotted setting up blue tents, replacing the orange ones, the color associated with former Mayor Erap Estrada.

In an interview by GMA News, one vendor said, "Kung anong tugtog, sumasayaw kami." (We're just riding on their political colors)

However, reports said that the mayor did not approve of the new setup. He made it clear that the blue tents were not sanctioned by him.

Carriedo Street and Plaza Miranda remain cleared of illegal vendors and other obstructions, as of this posting.
