70 Davao City students faint due to strong quake

DAVAO CITY --- About 70 students of Crossing Bayabas National High School experienced nausea, dizziness, and fainting due to the strong earthquake that hit the city Wednesday morning.

Davao City Police Office (DCPO) director Col. Alexander Tagum said the students panicked and ran to the ground when the earthquake was felt at around 8:30 a.m., July 10.

After receiving the report, the personnel of Toril Police Station, Central 911 and some volunteer groups responded and established an incident command center inside the school to give medical attention to the victims.

Tagum said some of the victims were brought to hospitals for treatment.
