The suspects were identified as Anisa Pacalna Sambolayang, Aisah Masandag Panontongan, Akisah Bayantol Topaan, and Monacaya Ambor Angodot.

PDEA reported that a team from the PDEA National Capital Region, the Barbosa Police Community Precinct, and PDEA Special Enforcement Service (SES) carried out the operation.

SES team leader Jonar Cuayzon said the operation followed two weeks of surveillance.

Cuayzon said he believes the four were part of a big-time drug syndicate. He declined to go into the details of the bust because PDEA was still conducting tactical operations.
