CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro – The Regional Highway Patrol Unit (RHPU)-Mimaropa (Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) announced on Thursday the arrest of a notorious criminal in Palawan and a motorcycle robbery suspect in Oriental Mindoro.

Lieutenant Colonel Erwin L. Rebellon, chief of RHPU chief, said Drex A. de Jesus, 40, driver, of Barangay Sta. Monica, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan was arrested the other day in a police operation at Col. Mayo St., Barangay Tiniguiban, of the same city.
Rebellon said the suspect is listed as no. 3 in the top ten most wanted person of RHPU-Mimaropa.
The RHPU unit in Occidental Mindoro also filed criminal charges against the suspect when it found out that he was involved in selling of motor vehicles acquired thru rent-tangay-sangla scam.
In Oriental Mindoro, RHPU and Calapan City Police operatives recovered last June 19 from Reynante M. Reyes, 24, of San Vicente North, Calapan City a stolen Suzuki motorcycle owned by Christian Jay L. Dimaano of Pola town.
The motorcycle owner said his vehicle was stolen in a parking area of Xentro Mall in Calapan City last May 29 and police was able to trace it while undergoing renovation at Blue Lane Motorcycle Parts and Accessories in Barangay Lumangbayan.
