Creamline continued its surge with an easy 25-12, 25-19, 25-16 victory over skidding BanKo Perlas on Saturday to assure itself at least a playoff for a semifinal berth in the Premier Volleyball League Season 3 Reinforced Conference at the University of San Agustin gym in Iloilo City.

The Cool Smashers asserted their might throughout with their smashing attacks led by Alyssa Valdez and setter Jia Morado to duplicate their 23-25, 25-12, 25-17, 25-23 first-round triumph over the Perlas Spikers last June 2 and improving their win-loss tally to 5-1.

The win strengthened Creamline’s hold of the second spot while allowing unbeaten PetroGazz to advance straight to the semifinals with its 6-0 record in this six-team tournament.

Struggling with their passing game, the Perlas Spikers slipped to their third straight defeat for a 2-5 card at fourth place despite their new acquisition on Sutadta Chuewulim, who flew from Thailand on Friday to replace American Kia Bright in the roster.
