A twitter post from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) showed that the incident happened at around 1 pm at the southbound lane of Pasay Road.

Because of the incident, two lanes of the said thoroughfare were occupied by the silver Sedan.

A video posted on Facebook showed the front part of the vehicle, where the engine is usually located, on fire while it was still unclear where the driver of the car was.

Eventually, almost the entire vehicle was consumed by the fire and apparently, there was no firefighter on site to extinguish it.

The trunk of the car was also left ajar as the fire continued to spread toward the rest of the vehicle.

As of this posting, the MMDA has yet to give an update on the status of the vehicular fire.
