‘’I won my case on the residency issue in election registration board in Pandan; municipal trial court of Antique; even in the Comelec; and in the provincial Comelec on the night of my proclamation,’’ Legarda said in a message to Senate reporters.

‘’I won the elections (in the May 13 mid-term elections) by a huge mandate of 199,187 while all the opponents put together could not even reach half of my votes! My landslide lead is over 130,000!’’ she said.

‘’It was dismissed many times!,’’ she added.

Legarda stressed that she is loved by many.

‘’Thankful for all the blessings,’’ she stressed.

Legarda, chairwoman of the Senate finance, foreign affairs, and climate change committees, leaves the Senate officially on June 30, the same day winners in the last elections take their oaths of office.
