Xiaomi brings Mi 9 SE, a compact and powerful flagship


Xiaomi just announced the Mi 9 SE – the latest addition to the Mi 9 series. Mi 9 SE is a compact flagship featuring Qualcomm’s brand new Snapdragon 712 processor. With an 19.5:9 5.97“ Dot Drop display, Mi 9 SE's size is comparable to a classic 5.1” smartphone. Like Mi 9, Mi 9 SE offers LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 storage, holographic rainbow spectrum surface on the back, 48MP camera using the Sony IMX586 sensor, as well as the latest in-screen fingerprint sensor module and multi-function NFC, making it a flagship within the compact phone category.

Mi 9 SE has an expansive 5.97” AMOLED Dot Drop display while retaining its small form factor. At only 155g and 7.45mm thick, Mi 9 SE is ultra-slim and light and is made for easy-one handed operation. Mi 9 SE also includes an improved in-screen fingerprint sensor for a faster unlocking experience.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 712—faster and more power efficient Mi 9 SE is the first device powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 Mobile platform, an upgrade from the Snapdragon 710. Built with a 10nm processor consisting the Kryo 360 CPU (2.3GHz maximum clock speed) and Adreno 616 GPU, Mi 9 SE is engineered to handle even the most demanding tasks and delivers up to 35% improved graphics performance and power
efficiency compared to its predecessor.

Mi 9 SE sports a triple camera setup with a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor. Capture 48MP ultra-clear shots in daytime or 12MP in low-light conditions, when four pixels combine into one large 1.6-micron pixel. Mi 9 SE is also capable of taking 123° ultra-wide angle shots for landscape and architectural photographs, or shooting beautiful portraits with its telephoto lens.
