PBA: Jones sizzles for KaTropa anew

by Jonas Terrado

Terrence Jones continued to show off his explosive form, dropping 43 points to lead TNT KaTropa over the Alaska Aces, 99-85, in the PBA Commissioner's Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The former Houston Rocket shot 15-of-28 from the field while adding 22 rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocks to lead the KaTropa to a 2-0 record for a share of the early lead with NorthPort and Blackwater.

Jones, however, was ejected with 2:11 remaining for a second Flagrant Foul 1 for hitting Alaska's Jake Pascual after a rebound battle.

Import Chris Daniels had 23 points and 19 rebounds while Jvee Casio scored 22 points but the Aces dropped to 1-2 after their second straight loss.
