Special masses will be celebrated on Friday, May 24, at the Our Lady Help of Christians Parish in Maypajo, Caloocan City, in solemn observance of the Feast of Mary Help of Christians.

Holy Masses will be held at 6 a.m. and at 6 p.m. (novena mass). On Sunday, May 26, a high mass in honor of the revered Mary Help of Christians will be held at 9 a.m. It will be preceded by a caracol procession at 8 a.m.
Commemorative masses will also be held at the National Shrine of Our Lady Help of Christians in Sucat, Paranaque City.
The prayer to Our Lady Help of Christians will be recited in masses on Friday. The Church encourages the faithful to observe the day with special acts of devotion and thanksgiving prayers to the Blessed Mother, to pray the Holy Rosary, attend the Holy Mass, and make an act of consecration to Mary Help of Christians.
Last year, Pope Francis approved the canonical coronation of an image of Mary Help of Christians in Pangasinan. Papal Nuncio Archbishop Gabriele Giordano Caccia led the solemn rites at the Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist in Dagupan City.
