OLONGAPO CITY – Around P500,000 worth of illegal drugs were confiscated by the police here on Monday after conducting a buy-bust operation in Barangay New Cabalan.
According to the Olongapo City Police Office, authorities arrested 39-year-old Marlow Estrella and 33-year-old Erma Baltazar in Purok 3, Santol St. The two are both residents of Barangay Old Cabalan.
The two were arrested after Estrella sold P3,000 worth of drugs. The police confiscated 175 grams of shabu that is said to have a street value of P500,000.
The suspects will be charged with violations of Republic Act 9165 at the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor in this city.
