A maximum of 300 volunteers will come to the PPCRV's command center encode the data found on the election returns.

These will be compared with the digitally-transmitted election results.

"PPCRV's job has now started because we are receiving election returns and these are the ones that we are going to bash sa electronic returns," said PPCRV Media Director Agnes Gervacio.

Gervacio said the command center will be open 24/7 until the canvassing of votes is finished.

After the polling precincts closed, PPCRV volunteers picked up the fourth copy of the election returns.

The Church-based poll watchdog group deployed 300,000 volunteers to 85,000 polling precincts to conduct poll watching, man the voters' assistance desk, and to pick up the copy of the election returns.

Gervacio said that as of this morning, the PPCRV has only received five percent of all election returns. This came from the National Capital Region.

The official said the poll watchdog was expecting to receive election returns from Northern Luzon in the late afternoon.
