The winners of the whopping jackpot prizes of the Super Lotto 6/49 and the Ultra Lotto 6/58 both claimed their winnings at Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) main office in Mandaluyong City on Tuesday morning.

Arnel Casas, PCSO assistant general manager for gaming, product development, and marketing, said the winners from Manila and Zambales took their cheques.

"Both of the winners claimed their winnings this morning. They were very excited to get their money," he said.

According to him, they are both men, saying one is a bachelor while the other is a family man.

For the safety of the winners, Casas declined to give further details about them.

PCSO chairman Anselmo Pinili personally handed the cheques to the winners, Casas said.

Super Lotto’s winning combination was 25-31-07-28-18 -27, which had a total jackpot of P142, 668, 428. 80. The lucky ticket was purchased at an outlet inside a mall in San Lazaro, Manila.

The government took P42, 967, 512. 04 from the jackpot prizes as they were subjected to 20 percent tax, which was in accordance with the TRAIN Law.

Meantime, the winner of the P11.5 million jackpot of Mega Lotto 6/45, which was drawn last Friday, has yet to claim his/her winning.
