Bacoor banked on its lockdown defense to zap Pasay, 63-41, in the U17 Division of the Metro League at the Hagonoy Sports Complex in Taguig on Thursday.
Despite offensive struggles of its own, Bacoor made up for it on the defensive end, limiting Pasay to just 16 points in the first half.

The Strike eventually found their offensive game going in the second half, scoring 21 in the final quarter, to seal the outcome.
MJ Gutierrez fired 18 points, one rebound, and three assists for Bacoor.
Kurt Sienes dropped a game-high 19 markers, nearly half of Pasay's total points, with three rebounds and four steals.
