D-Wade may visit PH soon

Dwyane Wade played out his final season in the NBA last month and the 37-year-old has all the free time in the world.

Among his immediate plans include moving to Los Angeles with wife Gabrielle Union and to start therapy sessions as he tries to adjust to life without basketball. But a visit to the Philippines along side Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra could be possible as well.

On his social media account, D-Wade responded to a fan on possibly visiting the country. The 6-foot-4 guard said that he and Spoelstra have been talking about it and hopeful of making it happen.

"Coach SpO and I’ve been talking for a while about taking that trip together. Hopefully we can make it happen," said Wade on his Twitter account.

Seeing that materialize will depend on the schedule of Spoelstra. The first-ever Asian-American coach to win NBA titles (2012, 2013) will have a busy NBA offseason and the logical time for Spoelstra to visit the Philippines would either be late July or early August, Heat Nation suggested.
