The Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) has endorsed Manila mayoral candidate Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso and incumbent Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna, Moreno confirmed.
"INC officially announced it. Pinapunta ako sa District Office nila (I was asked to go to their District Office) headed by Brother Macleo Ibasco" he said.
Domagoso thanked INC for their endorsement and he vowed to deliver services expected of him in the city.
"Nagpapasalamat po tayo kay kapatid na Eduardo V. Manalo at sa mga kapatid sa Iglesia sa pagtitiwala nila sa atin (I express my gratitude to brother Eduardo V. Manalo and Iglesia members for their trust)," Domagoso said.
"Kung kami man po ay mahalal, makakaasa po ang bawat Manileno na pagbubutihin namin ni Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna ang aming trabaho para maiangat ang antas ng pamumuhay sa Lungsod ng Maynila (Should we get elected, every Manileño is assured that Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna and I will do our best to uplift the way of life in the City of Manila)," he added.
Iglesia Ni Cristo, with its membership of close to two million, is known to practice bloc voting during elections.
