The Generals still threatened with six straight points to cut the lead down to just two before Prince Orizu and LJ Mayo exchanged deuces.

Taguig even had a chance to force overtime as Mark Montuano only made a split from the line, but Mayo missed the equalizing triple and Mark Doligon cleared the game-saving rebound.

Orizu finished with 18 points, nine rebounds, and one assist for Bacoor, which remained unbeaten at 6-0.

Emmanuel Ojuola came up with 25 markers, nine boards, and two blocks for Taguig, which fell to 3-2.
