Bacoor debuted in the U17 Division of the Metro League with a strong statement, blasting Las Pinas, 86-68, at the Hagonoy Sports Complex in Taguig on Saturday.
The Jr. Strike shut down the Jr. Home Defenders in the second half, limiting them to just 26 points, 13 in each of the final two quarters, while scoring 46 of their own to turn a close game in the first half into a blowout.

MJ Gutierrez made 21 points, seven rebounds, and two assists for Bacoor.
Jericho Reyes erupted for 32 points in a losing effort for Las Pinas with four rebounds, two assists, and one steal.
