Lone bettor from Negros Occidental wins P47.74-million Mega Lotto 6/45 jackpot

Nearly P50 million was won by a lone Mega Lotto 6/45 bettor from Negros Occidental in Monday night's draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said Tuesday.

The winning combination of Mega Lotto 6/45 was 17-35-18-23-19-10. It had a total jackpot prize of P47, 745, 245.

PCSO disclosed that the lucky ticket was purchased at an outlet in Victorias, Negros Occidental.

The jackpot prize will be subjected to 20-percent tax in accordance with the TRAIN law. The bettor will therefore get a total of P38, 196, 196.

Meanwhile, the government will get P9, 549, 049 or the 20 percent of the Mega Lotto jackpot.

To claim the prize, the bettor must go to PCSO's main office in Madaluyong City, and present two IDs so he/she could get a check.

PCSO called on the public to keep on patronizing its games as a large chunk of its revenue goes to charity.

All lotto draws are being aired live every 9 p.m. at PTV 4. Lotto 6/42 draw is every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; Super Lotto 6/49 draw is every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday; Mega Lotto 6/45 is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday; Grand Lotto 6/55 draw is every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday; and Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw is every Tuesday ,Friday and Sunday.
