Matteo Guidicelli joins Army reserve force

Actor, singer, and racer Matteo Guidicelli shared on Monday that he has officially joined the Philippine Army Reserve Command (ARESCOM).

The Filipino-Italian shared photos of him at the ARESCOM headquarters in Tanza, Cavite in his Instagram account.

"I officially joined the Philippine ARMY today because I love my country. I would like to thank the people that have been very supportive. Exciting times ahead," he captioned photos of him in uniform.

“The rank is emplaced near their heart because it means only those who have the heart to serve will be fit to wear the uniform. It is beyond the uniform; it is all about willingness to serve the country and being prepared for any eventuality” Guidicelli quoted ARESCOM Commander, Major General Bernie Langub.

In another Instagram post, Guidicelli honored the country's soldiers.

"Always respect to our flag and to the people that protect us," he wrote.

Last month, Guidicelli became a member of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA) alongside Erwan Heussaff and Nico Bolzico.
