Manila mayoral candidate Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso is pushing for the construction of a new Ospital ng Maynila to cater to more Manileños.

The new Ospital ng Maynila will rise beside its current building, which will, in turn, be converted into the new College of Medicine of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM).
“We intend to transfer the PLM College of Medicine to the current Ospital ng Maynila building. This way, our PLM students taking up medicine won’t have to travel from Intramuros to Malate for their internship,” Domagoso said.
Domagoso said the new public hospital building will help expand the health services of the city government.
He added that it will be fully air-conditioned to make patients' visit and stay convenient.
Like the Manila Skydeck, the new Ospital ng Maynila building is part of Domagoso’s 10-year infrastructure plan to boost the city’s tourism, healthcare, and jobs sectors.
