Anvil Business Club recently bestowed on Dr. Lucio C. Tan its inaugural “Anvil Leadership Award for Business Excellence” (ALAB Award) in recognition of his “inspiring business success, outstanding community leadership and magnanimous philanthropy.”

The awarding was held on March 15, 2019 at the Century Seafood Restaurant during the induction of Anvil’s new set of officers where Dr. Tan was the guest of honor and inducting officer.

One of Asia’s wealthiest billionaires according to Bloomberg News & Forbes magazine, the self-made entrepreneur Lucio Tan is founder of LT Group, Inc. and Tan Yan Kee Foundation. He is boss of Philippine Airlines (PAL), Philippine National Bank (PNB), Asia Brewery, Tanduay Distillers and many others. Tan is also chairman emeritus of the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII).
