Chief Supt. Joel Napoleon Coronel, director of the Central Luzon regional police, said the reward is intended for Ryan Rementilla who used the pseudonym Oliver Fuentes when he worked for Dominic Sytin at the United Auctioneers Inc.

Based on the investigation, it was Rementilla who introduced the gunman Edgardo Luib to Dennis Sytin for the P1 million contract killing for Dominic in September last year.

Dominic was gunned down outside a hotel at the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) in Olongapo City in November last year. His security escort was wounded during the attack.

On Monday, the Philippine National Police has tagged Dennis Sytin as the mastermind behind the death of his older brother, citing business rivalry as the motive.

Police investigation disclosed that Dennis was kicked out of the UAI after allegedly funneling huge amount of UAI fund to a company he set up last year.

Rementilla, on the other hand, was dismissed at the UAP after Dominic found out that he was using a pseudonym and that he embezzled almost P1 million from the UAI.

Rementilla then worked for Dennis and it was then that the alleged plan to kill Dominic was mapped out.

The involvement of Rementilla and the younger Sytin came after Luib was arrested on March 5. He allegedly made a confession identifying Dennis Sytin as the mastermind.
