Road repair and maintenance will be conducted in the sections of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) and Circumferential Road 5 (C-5)starting Friday night, DPWH-National Capital Region Director Ador Canlas said.

The southbound direction of EDSA - about 990 lineal meters from Ermin Garcia to Monte de Piedad, third lane from sidewalk - will undergo road reblocking.

In C-5, repair works will be implemented at the southbound directions, fronting SM Aura and after Lanuza Avenue before reaching the Bagong Ilog Flyover.

The northbound directions of Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard from Ramon Magsaysay Bridge to Pureza Street; and Fairview Avenue from Atherton to Regalado Avenue North, first lane from center island, will also undergo rehabilitation.

Affected roads are expected to be reopened by 5 a.m. on Tuesday, February 26.

Motorists are advised to take possible alternate routes due to expected traffic slowdowns in the affected areas.
