"Bagamat may curfew tayo na pinapatupad sa Lanao del Sur, wala pong utos ang ating AFP na barilin ang mga sibilyan, maliban nalang kung ikaw ay terorista (Although we are enforcing a curfew in Lanao del Sur, there is no order from the AFP to shoot civilians except when you are a terrorist), " Brawner said.

"Ito po ay gawa-gawa lamang ng mga tao na nais mang-gulo sa ating tahimik na pamumuhay (This is the work of spoilers of peace in our community)," Brawner added.

He assured that the AFP will ensure the peace and order in Lanao del Sur and Marawi City and prevent a repeat of the Marawi siege.
