Caloocan roads to be closed for 57th anniversary, CNY celebrations

The Caloocan City local government announced road closures and rerouting schemes in preparation for the celebration of Chinese New Year and the city’s 57th anniversary.

Some roads will be temporarily closed from 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, until the grand fireworks display and concert on Monday, February 4.

A part of 9th Street, particularly 7th Avenue to 10th Avenue will be closed to vehicles.

A road closure will also be implemented along 8th Avenue, from 6th Street to 10th Street.

Motorists are advised to take EDSA and 5th avenue as alternative routes to avoid vehicular traffic.
