Among those arrested were 57 drug suspects, 20 wanted persons and six illegal gamblers. It also resulted in the confiscation of an approximate weight of 30.15 grams of shabu with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P111,600.
Armed encounters resulted in the death of 11 drug suspects, while two others were killed during hot pursuit operations following a robbery incident.
Matta added the LPPO’s 116 operations were made possible through the concerted efforts of the different units and stations, the diligent foot and mobile patrolling conducted separately which even led to the arrest of a drug suspect who was caught ‘in flagrante delicto’ or ‘in the act of’ sniffing suspected shabu.
