A report from the Batangas Police Provincial Office (BPPO) identified the arrested suspects as Cesar Ramos, 42.

Likewise arrested were Maurin Dimasacat, 21; Jeffrey Dimasacat, 26 and a 16-year-old helper.

Police reported that operatives from the Ibaan Police - Municipal Drug Enforcement Team (MDET) targeted Ramos in a buy bust operation in Barangay Lapu-Lapu.

Ramos was arrested after the operation along with the three other suspects, who were caught sniffing shabu in the said place.

Confiscated from the suspects were four sachets of shabu and drug-using items.

It was learned that Ramos was released from the Quezon District Jail in Lucena City last July but resumed his nefarious ways, peddling shabu to truck drivers and helpers in the said barangay and neighboring areas.
