Duterte, speaking at the situation briefing in typhoon-Isabela Thursday, said hazing practices especially lewd acts only rob the students of their dignity and cause trauma.

"I'm warning I will never tolerate that kind, 'yung hazing. Pinakain nila 'yung ari nila doon sa...They will be dismissed. I will dismiss them. I have no place for people (like)," Duterte said.

“You do not train a soldier or policeman who goes out of the academy with a trauma. It's a deep psychological insult and stays in the head,” he said.

Duterte said he already read a report about the incident that transpired in the police academy in Silang, Cavite last month.

"Whatever the decision, pag dating niyan sa akin it is actually a dismissal na. I don't need that kind of shit. Ayoko 'yung mga sundalo ko pati mga pulis ko na dehumanized," he added.

Duterte expressed concern that students who lose their dignity due to hazing would likely "take it against" other people when they become police and military officials. "He will go out of the academy almost robbed of his humanity and he'd always remember that," he said.

The October 6 incident involves three upperclassmen who allegedly ordered two plebes to perform oral sex as punishment. The plebes reportedly complained to school authorities about the incident.

The President, meantime, has warned those still training to become policemen and soldiers against hazing other students.

He reminded them about the duty of the government, including the uniformed personnel, "to protect and preserve the nation."

"So please 'yung gusto pumasok o nandyan na do not ever do that kasi mag-aaway lang tayo. For me, kapag dumating sa mesa ko 'yan, it is dismissal period," he added.

"I don't need that kind of policeman not in my time, not during my generation, for the next generation of Filipinos," he said.

"Maligayahan ka makita mo tao ano ginawa mo? And that kind of thing is really taboo, hindi yan gawain ng lalaki," he added.

Duterte admitted that aid he was hospitalized after enduring hazing when he was still in school. He recalled that he was hit 300 times after he refused to follow an order to kiss another male student.

"Dumaan ako ng hazing. I endured pain. I was hospitalized," he said.
