The Mini has been a symbol of British culture since 1959 and last weekend all the locally available Mini variants were on display for all to see. This was all part of the Mini Festival 2018, held at the Bonifacio High Street Central Amphitheater last Oct. 19-21.  Along with unique lifestyle and activity booths of local artisan partners, actual Minis served as the booths themselves.

Also on display with the rest of the lineup was a preview of the limited edition Mini Monte Carlo Edition, a modern version of the Mini that took landmark wins at the Monte Carlo Rally. The vehicle is red with a white roof and fog lights in front of the grille and the iconic number 37 on the doors, which was the number of Paddy Hopkirk’s car in that memorable race in the winter of 1964.  This special edition John Cooper Works S has a panoramic moon roof and JCW alloy rims. Only 20 examples of this car will be available for sale in the Philippines.

For those who made the right choice over the weekend and ordered a Mini at the festival, they have a chance to be flown out to the Mini Plant in Oxford, UK to experience the heritage and the history of Mini firsthand.
