Most wanted man in Makati facing 99 counts of rape nabbed by cops

The most wanted man in Makati City, who is facing 99 counts of rape, was arrested by policemen Friday night.

Police identified the suspect as Louie Guevarra, 47, a construction worker, of Barangay Carmona, Makati.

Armed with an arrest warrant issued by Makati Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 136 Judge Rico Sebastian Liwanag, policemen went to the house of Guevarra and collared him at 8:45 p.m.

On the same day, police apprehended the second most wanted man in Makati.

Around 9 p.m., police nabbed 62-year-old Renato Cipriano, a parking attendant. He was also collared inside his house on Zapote St. in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Makati.

Makati RTC Branch 3-FC Judge Robert Victor Marcon issued the arrest warrant against Cipriano, who is facing two counts of rape.

Guevarra and Cipriano are now behind bars at the Makati police headquarters' detention cell.
