CAMP QUIRINO, Ilocos Sur — An elderly Australian was shot dead the other night at the BLISS area, Barangay Katipunan, Sinait, Ilocos Sur, police said Tuesday.
Senior Superintendent Clint Bayacsan, director of the Police Provincial Office (PPO), identified the victim Reginald Hodgens, 70, single, a building supervisor, surfing enthusiast and temporarily residing in the area.
Bayacsan said the perpetrators of the crime have not yet been identified and their motive was still under investigation.
He said Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) have been called in to help in the investigation.
