Singer Lana Del Rey called out Kanye West after the rapper pushed for the repeal of the 13th amendment --which abolished slavery-- and for supporting US President Donald Trump.

In an Instagram post, West posted a selfie wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat with a caption: this represents good and America becoming whole again. We will no longer outsource to other countries. We build factories here in America and create jobs. We will provide jobs for all who are free from prisons as we abolish the 13th amendment. Message sent with love".

Del Rey then commented on the post: “Trump becoming our president was a loss for the country but your support of him is a loss for the culture.”

She added that both Trump and West have "delusions of grandeur and extreme issues with narcissism". "I can only assume you relate to his personality on some level."

“If you think it’s alright to support someone who believes it’s OK to grab a woman by the p**sy just because he’s famous -- then you need an intervention as much as he does,” she continued.

“Message sent with concern that will never be addressed.”

On Saturday, West, after performing for "Saturday Night Live" episode, also gave a speech to the audience voicing his support for the president and talked about his plans for running in the 2020 presidential race.
