BTS, Black Pink win at MTV Video Music Awards Japan


K-pop groups BTS and Black Pink triumphed at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan (VMAJ).

BTS’ “Fake Love” music video won the Best Group Video-International while Black Pink’s "DDU-DU DDU-DU" grabbed the Best Dance Video award.

“Fake Love” is the lead single in BTS’ previous album “Love Yourself: Tears” and "DDU-DU DDU-DU" is Black Pink’s carrier song in the album “Square Up.”

The MTV VMAJ recognized Japanese and foreign artists.

In the Best Male Video, the winners are “Lemon” of Kenshi Yonezu (Japan) and “In My Blood” by Shawn Mendes (international).

For Best Female Video, the winners are Aiko for “Straw” and Ariana Grande’s “No Tears Left to Cry.”
