The FDA said that the products namely Maruchan Ramen Noodle Soup Beef Flavor, Tao Ti Supreme 18 Tea, Furn-You Braised Bambooshoot, Palawan's Brewed Coffee, and Obey Food Products Guyabano Capsules, are not registered with the agency.

The agency noted that it cannot guarantee the quality and safety of unregistered food products and they may pose potential health risk when consumed.

"The public is advised not to purchase the aforementioned violative products. Moreover, the public is advised to be vigilant against food products and food supplements that might not be duly registered with FDA," said the agency.

"All concerned establishments are warned not to distribute the above-identified violative food products and food supplement until they have already been covered by the appropriate authorization, otherwise, regulatory actions and sanctions shall be strictly pursued," it added.

The FDA advised the public to always check if a food product has been registered with FDA before purchasing it by using the embedded Search feature of the agency's website.
