Leading digital services provider PLDT, Inc. (PLDT) is working with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to support and advance children’s welfare in the conduct of its business operations, and not just through corporate social responsibility programs.
As the first Philippine company to take on this thrust with UNICEF, PLDT is looking at developing concrete policies to promote children’s welfare in the workplace, marketplace, and community. The company is particularly taking a step further to advance the welfare of Filipino children as customers, children of its own employees, and future members of the workforce.
PLDT is also working with UNICEF on a multiplatform campaign to educate children, youth, parents, educators, and community partners nationwide on promoting children’s welfare and protection online.
