Something cheesy from the past is coming back to life to awaken your 1990’s heart.
Your last bite could probably be 12 years ago, but worry not, the 90’s cheesy snacks Planters Cheez Balls and Cheez Curls will be filling your hungry millennial soul.
This July, Planters Cheez Balls and Cheez Curls will have a relaunch – but for a limited time only – USA Today reported. Kraft Heinz Company has also confirmed the news of the snack’s comeback.
The Cheez Balls and Cheez Curlz will be available in 2.75-ounce canisters and 4-ounce canisters, respectively. Both will cost $1.99.
Based on the report, Planters Head of Brand Building Melanie Huet in a statement released Tuesday said they have heard requests to bring the two products back, adding that that’s why they are giving their fans “a chance to reunite with their most-missed cheesy snack.”
Planter’s Twitter account @MrPeanut announced earlier today that Cheez Balls will be available in July at selected stores and online.
In 2006, Planters Cheez Balls were removed in the market, but online petitions requesting their comeback have continued to make noise in social media. (Alecsandra Go)
