A car shop owner was killed and a visitor at his shop wounded when two men riding in tandem on a motorcycle opened fire as they passed by in Santiago City, Isabela last Tuesday.
A belated police report identified the fatality as Robert Mike Miranda Genova, 40, married, and owner of the Azimo Car Shop located on Del Pilar Street, Purok 7, Barangay Victory Norte, Santiago City.
Genova was declared dead upon arrival at the Southern Isabela General Hospital, Rosario, Santiago City due to multiple bullet wounds in the body by attending physician, Dr. Apollo Narciso, minutes after the attack at 4 p.m.
Police said Felix Gallegos, 46, a businessman who had stopped by the shop to talk to Genova was also wounded in the drive-by shooting.
He suffered a bullet wound in the chest and was taken to a different hospital for treatment.
