Albayalde arrived in Bohol and is expected to stay until Sunday after arriving from Cebu.

He reiterated the call for discipline as he emphasized the drive against police scalawags.

He visited various PNP stations in Bohol as part of his inspection of the ranks, but also to listen to the needs of the uniformed personnel.

The PNP chief arrived in Bohol for the first time and handed out citations to, among others, the SWAT team that successfully neutralized the second most wanted man in the region, Emigdio Aparece Jr.

The SWAT team, led by Supt. Gaylord Tamayo, figured in a gun battle with Aparece in June 5 in Barangay Concepcion in Danao.

Albayalde is expected to meet with various peace and order stakeholders in Bohol today prior to his departure from the province.
