Chief Superintendent Joselito Esquivel Jr., QCPD director, said that the newly-acquired patrol cars and assault rifles add to the millions of pesos worth of logistical equipment donated by the QC LGU to the police force.

Last month, the city government donated to the QCPD 1,250 Taurus caliber 40 semi-automatic pistols which were issued to new policemen and three Montero SUVs for official use of the Office of the PNP Chief, the NCRPO Director, and the QCPD Director.

In 2017, the QCPD also received 50 units of Toyota Vios and 150 Yamaha motorcycles from the QC-LGU headed by Mayor Herbert Bautista.

Mayor Bautista, who also attended the ceremony at the QCPD Headquarters in Camp Karingal, told police officers to maintain peace and order in the city.

He also asked PNP Chief Oscar Albayalde to continue instilling discipline in QC policemen who commit “infractions and violate policies of the organization.”
