Duterte made the statement after being criticized for kissing a married Filipina in Seoul, South Korea last week.

Duterte, in a speech in Cebu Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, said that he can't do anything more if people got offended as he believes that people should do what they want in their only life.

"Now if you are offended, eh wala akong magawa sa'yo (Then I can't do anything about that). But that is my style," he said.

"Kausa ka ra gud muagi aning kalibutanang Ba't... makabalik ka pa ba dito (You only live once. Why, can you return to this life)? You only one --- you only have one life to live. Then it's forever," he added.

The President then said that critics should not try to lecture him as he has a different view on things.

"God made you a different human being than the rest, then do not impose your morality on me," Duterte said.

Duterte reiterated that he has been kissing girls since he was mayor in Davao City. He also said politicians should know how to make their audience have a good time.

"Pero kanang akong showbiz ana, dugay na na. Sa Davao niadto, naay mga... na'y mga babae (But my showbiz acts, it started since I was in Davao, with the girls there)," he said.

"Politika ka, di ka kamao mupakatawa og imong audience, di ka kamao mulingaw (You are a politician. But if you do not know how to make your audience happy), then you do not belong there," he added.

Duterte also reiterated a presidential debate where he referred to his supposed womanizing as biology.

"Ingon ko (I said), 'Let us not talk about that. I will not answer you. That's a matter for Biology,'" he said.

"Kinsa ma'y di gustong mukiyod y***? Mao bitaw daw. Nganong i-separate ba nimo kanang mga babae nga (Who's the person who doesn't want to have sex? That's what I'm saying. Why would you separate women from men)...?" he added.

Duterte earlier explained that there was no malice about the kiss and that he is not sure why there would be outburst about an act which he called as "showbiz."

"Style ko ‘yan eh. Maghanap kayo ng ibang style ninyo (That's my style. Find your own). There is nothing wrong in a simple kiss you cause an uproar. Inggit lang ‘yan sila (They are just jealous)," he said.
