A job-matching platform dubbed as “Jobs, Jobs, Jobs” Portal aimed to complement the government’s infrastructure program was launched today.

“Jobs, Jobs, Jobs” Portal is an online jobs site aimed at consolidating all employment opportunities from all concessionaires and construction companies involved in the government’s flagship infrastructure program -- “Build, Build, Build” (BBB).

"The “Jobs, Jobs, Jobs” Portal will serve as a job-matching platform between potential employers and employees as the government moves to complement its “Build, Build, Build” infrastructure initiatives with more job opportunities for Filipinos," Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar said.

The new portal, Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade said, will enhance our goal of reaching Filipinos here and abroad to join the government’s infrastructure push.

The online portal aims to “create more jobs for Filipinos, address the demand for workers to ensure fast and timely delivery of BBB projects,” according to Bases Conversion and Development Authority president Vince Dizon.

Dizon furthered that with more job opportunities, returning overseas Filipino workers will opt to remain in the country and encourage more OFWs to return home.

Jobseekers can search and apply for thousands of job opportunities online, which became accessible this afternoon where a total of 11, 063 job openings were posted.

The job opportunities were offered by different contractors and subcontractors involved in building big-ticket infrastructure projects under the BBB program.

“The biggest, boldest, and most ambitious infrastructure plan of the Philippine government is also helping us create more jobs for the Filipinos that is why we encourage everyone especially job seekers to utilize this new Jobs Jobs Jobs Portal and help us build vital infrastructure projects across the country,” Villar said.
