The appeal was made by Richelle Peña Robosa following the death of her brother Ronel, the father of baby Naoki William Maner Peña and his wife Susanne, a Swiss national.

Currently, the survivor of the accident, considered by many as a “miracle baby,” is now at the Mother Seton Hospital awaiting medical treatment for a leg fracture.

Robosa said there have been several people who have already sent help but what they are now more concerned about is the supply of breast milk for the baby.

Baby Naoki, Robosa told ABS-CBN News, does not drink formula milk and prefers only breast milk, making the response to her appeal even more urgent.

She said she even had to breastfeed the baby herself considering the latter’s special need.

Robosa revealed that the family of the baby is actually based in Thailand but arrived in the country on May 5 and went to Palawan before heading to Bicol.

While the family was en route to their destination, the Toyota Avanza, then being driven by Ronel was involved in an accident with three other vehicles.

The baby was thrown out of the vehicle and landed face down on the pavement but miraculously survived the ordeal.
