The Butuan City native, representing the National Capital Region, bagged a total of five golds in Vigan. She won the gold in the Individual All-Around, NCR Team, rope apparatus, ball apparatus and club apparatus events.

“Actually even though I won in 2 international competitions prior to coming here at the Palarong Pambansa 2018, I was really nervous. There were high expectations from my team that I give a good performance,” said Bree in an exclusive interview with Manila Bulletin Sports Online.

After completing and winning her events, Bree had to rush back to Manila to attend her graduation at St. Scholastica Manila. Her dad, Arnold Labadan, stayed behind to receive her awards.

“After winning the 5 gold medals, I was very happy and kept thanking the Lord for giving me the victory. I feel very happy even if I received a lot of criticism. I proved them wrong and showed that I can really do anything with pure dedication and hard work,” ended Bree.

Her proud father was so elated with her latest accomplishment and wishes her daughter continued success.

“My wish for my daughter is that she will continue to believe in herself and work harder. We offer this victory to God.”
