Cebu, PSC heads meet for 2018 PNG

Philippines Sports Commission (PSC) representatives and the heads of the Cebu Provincial and City Sports Committee sat down yesterday to iron out details for the Philippine National Games set for next month.

PSC Visayas Executive Director Bobbie Kintanar bared that through their collective cooperation and contribution, the staging of the PNG is expected to be successful. There are 21 events set, including Arnis per PSC secretariat-chief Annie Ruiz.

Participating athletes will be playing in 12 venues – Cebu City, Cebu Province, Naga City, Municipality of Tabuelan, Danao City, Lapu-Lapu City, and Mandaue City. 19 billeting areas will provide housing to participants.

The Regional Coordinator of PSC Visayas Nonnie Lopez also announced that three local government unit (LGU) coordinators will be assigned to represent Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
