Cardinal Tagle to lead Holy Week rites at the Manila Cathedral

Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio G. Cardinal Tagle will lead the Holy Week rites at the Manila Cathedral in Intramuros, Manila.

On March 25, Palm Sunday, His Eminence will preside over the Holy Mass at 7 a.m.
On March 29, Maundy Thursday, the morning prayer will be held at 6:30 a.m., to be followed by the Chrism Mass to be officiated by the cardinal at 7 a.m. Tagle will also lead the Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 5 p.m.
On Good Friday, March 30, the Stations of the Cross will be held. The cardinal will lead the Seven Last Words and the Commemoration of the Lord’s Passion in the afternoon.
On Black Saturday, March 31, Tagle will preside over the Easter Vigil Mass at the Manila Cathedral at 8 p.m.
Meanwhile, the confessional will be available for longer hours at the Manila Cathedral during the Holy Week. From Holy Monday to Holy Wednesday, confessions will be heard from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., 11 a.m. to 12 noon, and 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
On Maundy Thursday, the confessional will be available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 12 midnight. On Good Friday, confessions will be heard from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m
