The Filipino singer bested seven other international singers, including her idol, British Superstar Jessie J.

Tandingan gave Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" a twist, even adding a Filipino rap to the song, which amazed the show's viewers.

Jessie J, who gave her rendition of Rufus and Chaka Khan's "Aint Nobody", placed second.

The signers' ranking on "Singer 2018" — where professional singers accross the world compete — are determined by the studio audience's votes.

Prior the actual competition, Jessie J met with Tandingan to give her a welcome.

During their short meeting, Tandingan expressed her admiration for the "Price Tag" singer.

"When I was in highschool I almost stopped singing because I couldn't reach the high notes anymore because I had a polyp on my vocal chords and then I heard you and then I realized 'Oh I didnt have to hit those high notes... so I started singing again," Tandingan said while trying to hold back her emotions.

"Who I am as an artist now, a big chunk of that is because of you," she told Jessie.

Jessie J, in turn, hugged Tandingan and gave her a piece of advice.
