Christopher PolicarpioChristopher Policarpio, a member of the Philippine men’s underwater hockey team, was recently invited by the New South Wales Underwater Hockey Commission to play for the NSW Men's Masters team in the 2018 Australian National UWH Championships held Jan 9-13 at the HBF Stadium in Perth, Australia.
Policarpio’s NSW Team went on to win the gold medal in the Masters Open category and he was awarded the Masters MVP award.
Four other Filipinos were invited to participate in the Aussie Nationals, as the Championships are called. Team Philippines sent Chari Ongyanco, Nadj Buenafe, Johanna Uy and Michelle Uy to join the Victoria Women’s Team.
